Over the years Adrienne Gold and myself worked to make an amazing program for the Bat Mitzvah year that mothers and their daughters could do together. After years of perfecting and choosing which sessions had the most impact, how long should the classes be, the program has just grown in it's scope and depth. This Winter 2018 session was no exception, we had an amazing group of 24 participants, from different schools and shuls across the GTA. We dished on topics like gossip, body image, social media, what is a Jewish woman and so much more. The girls formed a really sweet and unique bond with each other and we were blown away by their answers and feedback. Every time I run this program I learn more about myself, being a Jewish leader and mother, and the lives of girls in this world we are living in.
