"The Jewish Family Institute has truly created an urban village that connects Jews of every kind, families of every sort....to the rich traditions of our people. They filled a void by offering programming that covers every familial need...from the Sunday Scene, a place for parents to bring their little ones to play on Sunday mornings and connect themselves with other parents. Some of those relationships forged there over a cup of good coffee have offered a kind of chosen family that many of us in the city require. The marriage and parenting classes, the relationship skills taught, the opportunity to learn from qualified therapists and counsellors for a mere fraction of the price of private practice....has been a lifesaver for so many of us. The GIVEBACKNOW programmes have allowed us to model for our children what it means to be outwardly focussed, to get our hands-on giving opportunities that act as both chesed and role modelling. But most of all, The Jewish Family Institute has created a safe and respectful place to work on the quality of ones own life amongst other truth seekers."

Our family has participated in several Give Back Now programs have been so rewarding in many ways. Our children get to see tzedakah in action. Whether it's filling backpacks with school supplies for children in the city, or packing sandwiches with thoughtful notes of encouragement to deliver to the homeless on the streets of downtown Toronto, the impressions made on our family run deep.

"The JFI is a one stop shop for all our Jewish family needs. It fuels our souls and nurtures each individual spirit through social, educational and recreational channels resulting in the creation of deeper relationships and meaningful connection. JFI programming content is always evolving to satisfy changing needs allowing for dynamic and diverse offerings for kids and adults alike."
I have really enjoyed being a part of the meaningful date nights with my husband. You actually feel like you are on a little romantic date. There are couples of all ages, and now we actually know some and love that we also get to socialize before and after the speakers. The talks have been super informative and give us something to think about and take away to build our relationship even stronger. It's an excuse to get out with your spouse, and learn something that will be super useful to make your relationship stronger!
I have had the opportunity to, not just attend, but participate in the Mother/Daughter Bat Mitzvah class with each of my three daughters. With three different personalities, each one learned, grew, was engaged, and contributed in an environment where opinions were encouraged and appreciated. Each topic left us wanting to share more. It was very meaningful to share these learning experiences with each of my daughters.
